Day 2: The Troublesome "F"

Day #1 of actual memories!!! Hope you enjoy (:

When I was little, probably about three or four years old up until the first grade, I had a speech problem… a pretty funny one actually. My eldest brother, Michael, liked to point this out to me and told me I needed speech class. This typically would upset me and I would go running to my momma yelling, “ I don’t need to go to peech class!! Tell him I don’t need to go to peech class!!” As if that would make him stop teasing me, right? Everyone thought I was so funny…well, everyone except for my Grandma Bonnie. She was determined to help me out. She would sit me down on her lap and tell me, “ Say ‘fa’ ‘fa’ ‘fa’ FINGERS!!!” I would proudly repeat, “ ‘fa’ ‘fa’ ‘fa’ DINGERS!!!” No matter how many times we went over it, dingers always came out! I just couldn’t help it! “F” was always the problem. Whenever we would go out to eat, my family would tease me and say that we were going to go to McDonalds. They always got the reply they wanted, “No! I want some good dood!” I’ve never lived this down. Up to this day, I still have dingers and like good dood :)
